Care, wear parts and replacement

Visors are the first wear part: scratches and haze cut night visibility long before any structural problem. Replace the whole helmet after any significant impact, even if the shell looks undamaged, since the liner foam may have compressed. Store it away from heat, direct sun and solvents, and never hang it on a mirror by the strap.
