Overview

The heavy end of our sweeper range

When the job is a highway shoulder or a long arterial road, small electric sweepers run out of hopper space. This truck carries a 10 m³ hopper and a 4.5 m³ water tank on an 18 t chassis, so it can work long stretches before emptying or refilling.

Two engines

A 220 hp chassis engine moves the truck, and a separate auxiliary engine of 103 or 140 hp (as stated) powers the sweeping and suction equipment. This separates road travel from cleaning work, so brush and fan speed do not depend on road speed. Working speed is 1–10 km/h while cleaning.

Emission and local rules

The stated emission standard is China V. Buyers in other markets should check the emission and fuel quality rules that apply to them; engine and chassis choices are matched to those rules.

Size to plan for

Overall dimensions are 8900 × 2510 × 3360 mm. Check bridge heights, depot doors and the shipping method early. Trucks of this size usually ship on a flat rack or ro-ro vessel, which is settled in the quotation.

Before you order

Fleet managers should plan spare parts for brushes, hoses, filters and wear plates when the truck enters service. Daily distance and the dust level of your roads decide the first-year parts list to ship with the truck.

How it differs from the rest of our sweeper range

This is the largest sweeper in our range and the only one that is a full-size truck. Its 10 m³ hopper holds far more than the 3000 L bin of the electric street sweeper (MM-SW30V) or the 600 L of the 60 V truck (MM-RS60V). That means fewer trips to the dump on long highway or arterial routes.

The diesel vacuum sweeper (MM-VS36V) is a smaller street machine at 2370 kg; the compact electric truck (MM-RC50V) is a washing vehicle for narrow streets. The ride-on models (MM-RS12V, MM-RS20V, MM-RB22V, MM-RS22V and MM-RW25V) are for yards, campuses, factories and plants, not public roads.

Choose this truck when you maintain highways, big city routes or construction sites and have a depot, a driver with a heavy-vehicle license and a proper dump point. At 18,000 kg and 8900 mm long it needs space to turn and park, and the emission standard is China V, so check it against your local fuel and rules.
