Overview
Between a golf cart and a utility vehicle
This cart keeps the comfort of a four-seater but adds ground clearance of 200–250 mm and 14-inch wheels. The result is a vehicle that handles speed bumps, gravel and broken paving that would scrape a low-slung cart.
Hills and braking
The stated grade ability is 20–25°, higher than our standard 4-seater, and disc brakes at both axles help control speed on descents. Top speed is 30–50 km/h, so many operators set a speed limit to suit pedestrian areas.
Range and charging
The range is stated at 70–90 km, and a full charge takes 7–9 hours. Motor power, battery, controller and charger details are listed in the quotation.
Choosing the right 4-seater
- Smooth roads, lowest cost: our 48 V 5 kW 4-seater.
- Rough roads, steeper slopes: this off-road version.
- Terrain with a need for long range and fuel flexibility: our 400 cc gas cart.
What can be specified
- Motor, battery and charger specification
- Speed limit setting
- Color, seat trim and cargo rack options
Your steepest slope and surface decide the final setup.
Before you order
If you are planning a fleet, ask us about matching seats, colours and a speed limit across all carts, so guests get a consistent experience and your maintenance team stocks one set of parts. We can also quote a spare-parts kit with the first shipment.
Choosing the right 4-seater from our range
Think of this cart as the middle step between the basic four-seater (MM-GC4V) and the lifted six-seater (MM-GL6V). Against the basic cart you get 200–250 mm of ground clearance instead of 100–150 mm, 14-inch tires and disc brakes on both axles; the price is slightly shorter range (70–90 km instead of at least 90 km) because bigger wheels and heavier components use more energy.
Against the lifted cart, it has less ground clearance (250–300 mm) and no AC drive, but it is cheaper and, at 3150 mm against 2760 mm, a longer vehicle with more room for cargo behind the seats. Choose it for estates with gravel roads, farm tracks, camp sites and golf courses with cart paths and rough shoulders.
If you need to cross sand, mud or steep tracks regularly, the gas cart (MM-GG400V) with 300 mm clearance and 24-inch tires is built for it. If you only drive on paved roads, the basic cart saves cost. A photo of your worst section is the best basis for advice.

Frequently asked questions
Is it truly off-road?
Ground clearance is 200–250 mm with 14-inch wheels, which suits uneven community and resort roads. For heavy off-road use, ask about our gas cart.
Can the top speed be limited?
Yes. The stated range is 30–50 km/h and we set a limit to suit your site rules.
What battery does it use?
Battery details depend on the build and are given on the specification sheet that comes with the quotation.
Can it carry cargo instead of rear passengers?
Many customers ask for a rear cargo bed in place of the back seat. Bed size and permitted payload are set when you order.
