A practical four-seater

This cart is the straightforward choice for sites that need to move up to four people over short distances at a safe speed. The 48 V 5 kW motor holds a stated top speed of 25–30 km/h, and the 100–150 mm ground clearance is meant for paved roads and well-kept paths.

Battery and charging

Power comes from six 8 V 150 Ah lead-acid maintenance batteries. They are inexpensive to replace and easy to service locally. A smart charger refills the pack in 7–9 hours, so the usual routine is to charge overnight and run all day. The stated range is at least 90 km.

Use and road rules

This is a resort and community cart: ground clearance is 100–150 mm and brakes are drum at both ends. If you need road registration or off-road use, choose a model built for that; the rules in your country decide which.

Before you order

Road rules for carts vary widely. If the cart will cross public roads rather than stay on private land, lights, mirrors and seat belts can be added so the specification matches what your authorities expect.

Compared with our other 4-seat and larger carts

This is the plain four-seater in our range: a 48 V, 5 kW motor, six lead-acid batteries and drum brakes front and rear. It suits flat or gently sloping resort roads, golf courses, villa communities and hospital grounds, where its range of at least 90 km easily covers a day.

If your roads are uneven, step up to the off-road four-seater (MM-GO4V) with 200–250 mm ground clearance and disc brakes. If you need more seats on the same 48 V system, the 8-seater (MM-GC8V) uses the same battery and motor, and the 6-seater (MM-GC6V) has a smaller 3.5 kW motor and a tighter turning circle. The sightseeing models (MM-GB8V and MM-SB14V) are for groups, not couples.

The gas cart (MM-GG400V) is only worth the extra noise and fuel where there is no charging. For ordinary paved resorts, this one is usually enough. Gradient and usual load are the deciding factors.
