Overview
Why choose a lifted cart
A standard cart sits low and struggles on gravel, curbs and rutted tracks. This lifted version has 250–300 mm of ground clearance and 12–14 inch tires, so it rides over rougher surfaces and keeps its underbody clear of puddles and stones.
Drive and brakes
An AC motor with an AC controller is used, which is a common choice for steady torque on slopes. The stated grade ability is at least 25°, and disc brakes at both axles improve stopping on downhill runs. A steel framework forms the chassis, and LED headlights support evening use.
Weight and speed
Weight, speed limit and the battery system depend on the configuration and are stated in the quotation.
What can be specified
- Battery type, voltage and charger
- Speed limit setting for your site
- Color, canopy and cargo options
Before you order
If the cart will also carry loads, the weight and size of what you plan to haul matter. A rear cargo bed or rack changes the weight distribution, so it is checked against the AC motor and braking before the cart ships.
Where it fits in the range
This is the only lifted six-seater with an AC motor in our range, built for terrain rather than comfort. Compared with the basic six-seater (MM-GC6V), ground clearance rises from 100–150 mm to 250–300 mm, and braking improves from drums to discs on both axles. An AC system usually gives smoother power, better hill-holding and regenerative braking. For smooth resort roads and a plush ride, see our 4-seater and 8-seater models.
Compared with the off-road four-seater (MM-GO4V), it has two more seats and higher clearance, at a shorter 2760 mm length. Against the lifted 6–8 buggy (MM-GL8V), it is more compact and has a stated gradeability of at least 25°, while the buggy carries more passengers and has lower clearance. The gas cart (MM-GG400V) offers the highest speed and clearance for gas-powered off-road work, but needs fuel and service.
Choose this cart where you want rugged terrain ability without engine noise: estates, camp sites, staff roads at remote sites and large farms. Your steepest slope and heaviest load decide the battery size.

Frequently asked questions
What is the top speed?
Speed is set to suit your site and stated in the quotation.
What battery does it use?
Battery type, voltage and capacity are given in the quotation.
Can it handle gravel roads?
Yes, ground clearance is 250–300 mm and tyres are 12–14 inch. That suits gravel roads.
Is the AC motor more reliable than a DC motor?
AC motors have no brushes to wear and usually need less service. They also need a matched controller, which we supply as a pair.
