Overview
An electric machine for accurate molding
This machine uses servo-electric drives instead of hydraulics for clamping, injection, ejection and screw motion. Electric drives move exactly as programmed, which helps repeat the same part shot after shot, and they use energy only when moving. They also keep the floor cleaner than hydraulic oil circuits, an advantage in packaging and food contact parts.
Where 5000 kN fits
A clamping force of 5000 kN suits medium to larger parts: containers, crates, pails, closures with multi-cavity molds, and technical components. The exact limit for your part comes from its projected area, the material and the injection pressure it needs. We check this against your part drawing, and also look at shot volume, tie-bar spacing and opening stroke.
Beyond the machine
Production cells usually add a mold, a take-out robot or linear handler, a conveyor, a material dryer and feeder, a mold temperature controller and cooling. Which of these are in the quote is agreed item by item. In-mold labeling and two-color molding are possible with the right mold and robot.
Energy and cycle time
Electric machines can use less energy than hydraulic ones, but the saving depends on the part, the cycle and the way the machine is used. We discuss real figures for your part instead of general percentages.
Information we need
Part drawing and weight, material, number of cavities, expected cycle, mold dimensions if the mold exists, and the services in your plant.
Support
We supply spare parts, operator training and remote commissioning help.
From inquiry to quotation
The quote checklist below covers the details needed. Our engineers reply with a written scope, drawings or a specification, and a clear list of inclusions and exclusions you can compare against other options.
Compared with the blow molding machine
An all-electric injection machine melts and injects plastic into a closed mold. It is the machine for precise parts: caps, closures, medical parts, electrical housings and thin-wall packaging. Blow molding is the next step for hollow bottles and uses the preform made on an injection machine, so the two machines often sit in the same plant.
Clamp force is only the first of several numbers to match. Look also at the shot volume, the tie-bar spacing for your mold and the mold weight. A mold that is large but needs little force may fit a smaller machine with wider spacing. All-electric drives suit repeatable, clean production and save energy when cycles include long cooling periods, because the motors draw power only when they move. Mold size, part weight, resin and target cycle time decide the screw and the options.

Frequently asked questions
Is the mold included?
Molds are quoted separately. If you already have a mold, send its size and we check that it fits the platens and opening stroke.
Can the machine run in-mold labeling?
Yes, with the right mold and robot. We discuss the labeling setup in the project proposal.
What about hydraulic or hybrid machines?
Those are separate models. They can be compared with this model on clamping force, energy and cost for your part.
How much cooling water does the machine and mold need?
The machine itself needs a small flow for the hopper throat and drives, while the mold needs most of the cooling capacity. We size the chiller and the water circuit from your part weight and cycle time.
