Overview
What the machine does
PET preforms are heated in an oven to the right temperature, then moved to molds where a stretch rod and high-pressure air form them into finished bottles. A rotary machine carries many molds around a wheel, so heating, stretching, blowing and discharge all go on continuously. This gives steady output for beverage lines that run for long shifts.
Bottle types
The same principle covers different containers. Light bottles for water, thicker-walled bottles that resist the pressure of carbonated drinks, heat-resistant bottles for hot-fill, and large containers of several liters each need their own preform, mold and heating setup. Our series covers small to large volumes from 0.25 L up to 20 L, split across sub-series. No single machine spans the entire range.
Selecting the right model
Bottle volume, neck finish, preform weight, number of mold cavities and the output you need determine the sub-series. Speed figures depend strongly on bottle shape and filling product, so realistic output is stated in the technical agreement rather than as a number that depends on test conditions.
Line integration
The blow molder can work alone with preforms delivered by you, or sit ahead of a filler and capper with air conveyors between. We can also advise on air compressors and chilled water, which many plants overlook.
What we need from you
Bottle drawing or sample, preform specification, product (water, carbonated, hot-fill, dairy or oil), required output and the services available in your factory.
After the sale
Molds, spare parts and operator training can be supplied with the machine, and our engineers assist with commissioning.
Ordering
Our engineers answer each inquiry with a written scope, drawings or a specification, and a plain list of what is included and what is not. The quote checklist below shows what we need to start.
Compared with the injection molding machine
Blow molding and injection molding both make plastic parts, but they serve different parts of the chain. Our injection machine on the same category makes the preform, or any other solid plastic part, from pellets in a mold. This machine takes a ready preform, heats it and blows it into a bottle. The machine is sized by cavities and by cycle: output scales with the number of cavities, while bottle volume and wall design set the cycle.
This is why choosing a rotary machine starts with the bottle list. A small beverage bottle fits many cavities and runs fast. A large water bottle of several liters takes fewer cavities and a longer blow time. Send the bottle drawing, the preform weight and the neck finish, and we recommend the cavity count and the air system. Remember to plan the compressor: air supply is usually the biggest single support item next to the machine.

Frequently asked questions
Does the machine include molds?
Molds are made for each bottle design and are quoted with the machine. Send a drawing or sample and the mold set is quoted.
Can one machine run different bottle sizes?
Within the limits of the sub-series, yes, by changing molds and settings. Very different volumes may need a different model.
Do you supply the air compressor?
Compressed air and cooling equipment can be quoted together. They are sized to your site utilities.
How much compressed air does the machine use?
Blowing air is a large load. High-pressure air is used in each blow, and part of it can be recovered for low-pressure use. We give you the air flow for your bottle size and speed, so you can size the compressor and receiver.
