Overview

The general-purpose vertical machine

A vertical form-fill-seal machine takes a flat roll of film, forms it into a tube, fills the product from above and seals the bag. This is our general-purpose model: it handles sugar, snacks and nuts, and the speed range of 20 to 100 bags per minute covers small bags at high speed and larger bags at a slower rate.

Specifications

Film width is 120 to 320 mm, which sets the maximum bag size. Installed power is 4.0 kW on a 220 V supply, and the drive is mechanical, which is simple to maintain. The machine weighs about 350 kg, light enough for a standard workshop floor.

Filling

The machine forms and seals the bag, and the product is metered by a separate unit mounted above it. For granules like sugar a volumetric cup filler is used; for snacks and nuts a multi-head weigher gives better weight accuracy. The right unit is specified for your product from its bulk density and bag weight.

Where it fits

Choose it as a first or second packing machine for dry food. Its weight and power are modest, and it can be installed by a small team. For powders like flour or milk powder, use an auger-type model; for heavy bags, use our larger machine.

The economical vertical bagger

This vertical machine runs at 20 to 100 bags a minute for sugar, snacks, nuts and other dry foods. It uses a mechanical drive, a 4 kW power supply, film from 120 to 320 mm and weighs 350 kg. It is simple and low in cost to run.

It differs from the snack and granule machines by its dosing. Those weigh each bag with a multihead weigher and are heavier machines of about 1,200 kg. This one doses by volume with a cup, which is cheaper but gives slightly more variation. The auger and servo powder machines are for powders. The stick pack machine is for single servings.

It is a good choice for rice, sugar, salt, beans and mixed nuts, where bulk density is stable. If giveaway matters on expensive products, add a weigher.
