Overview

Servo for variable products

A servo drive controls the film feed, so the bag length is adjusted on the screen instead of by changing mechanical parts. This matters when you pack different products on the same machine, such as a bar of soap on Monday and a loaf of bread on Tuesday. Changeovers become quicker and the bag length stays consistent.

What it wraps

The machine wraps products in a pillow bag and seals it. Soap, bread and biscuits are typical, and other solid goods such as household items or hardware work the same way. Plastic film is the packing material. Speed in bags per minute depends on product size and film.

Control and drive

A PLC controls the cycle. Pneumatic components assist some movements, so the site needs a small compressed air supply. The electrical supply is 220 V.

Where it fits in our range

Our faster flow wrapper is for bars and biscuits at high volume. This model is the flexible option: choose it when you have several product shapes, or when the product is heavier or larger, as with soap and bread. For wrapping large pillow bags, there is a dedicated large-bag model.

Choosing a configuration

  • Product size range and weight
  • Film type and thickness
  • Target speed
  • Coding or counting add-ons
  • Compressed air availability

We build and test the machine in our factory and ship it in a wooden case with a manual.

Servo wrapping for soft or uneven products

This pillow packing machine uses servo motors on film pull and sealing so that bag length and seal timing follow each product. Soap bars, bread loaves and biscuits do not have identical size, and a servo wrapper adjusts without a hard stop. The machine runs on 220 V and uses compressed air for some functions.

The large pillow bag wrapper uses a mechanical drive and fits large and regular products. The candy and cookie wrapper is for small, hard goods. This model suits tall or soft products where the seal must be placed with care. The cost is higher than a mechanical drive, but film waste is lower and format changes are quicker.

Soft bread squashes easily, so the infeed height and belt speed need to match.

Frequently asked questions

What is the advantage of servo feed?

The bag length is set on the screen, so changing between product sizes is faster and more consistent than mechanical adjustment.

Can it wrap soft bread?

Bread is a listed product. Soft goods need gentle infeed and correct seal settings, which are set for the product.

Does it need compressed air?

The drive is described as pneumatic, so a compressed air supply is needed. Requirements depend on your setup.

Can it wrap bread that is still warm?

Wrapped warm bread produces condensation inside the bag. We suggest cooling bread to near room temperature before wrapping.
