Overview

Speed for single-piece products

A flow wrapper wraps one product at a time in a sealed pillow bag. This model is the fastest in our flow wrapper group: 80 to 120 bags per minute. That speed suits bars, candy and biscuits that come off a production line in a steady stream and need to be wrapped without a queue.

How it works

The product is placed on an infeed conveyor. Film is pulled around it, the long seam and the two end seals are made, and the finished bag is cut and released. The machine lists filling, labeling and sealing as functions, so a date coder or label unit can be added to the line. Plastic film is the standard packaging material.

Size and power

The machine measures 4020 x 820 x 1450 mm. The long infeed conveyor gives operators room to place products by hand or to connect to the exit of a baking or forming line. It runs on 220 V with an electric drive. We can adapt the electrical set to your grid.

Which products it wraps

Flow wrappers wrap solid items: bars, biscuits, candy and solid goods are the right use, while loose powders and liquids belong on a different machine.

Why choose it

Choose this machine if your product is a bar or biscuit and your target is high output with one operator. If you wrap soap, bread or larger items, our servo pillow packing machine is a better match.

Choosing a configuration

  • Product length, width and height
  • Target bags per minute
  • Film type and thickness
  • Coding or labeling needs
  • Voltage and frequency

We test the machine and ship it in a wooden case.

The high-speed wrapper for bars and biscuits

This horizontal flow wrapper packs bars, biscuits and candy at 80 to 120 bags per minute. It is 4,020 mm long and 820 mm wide, and takes 220 V supply. The long infeed gives room for pushers and spacing, which is what keeps speed up without crushing fragile products.

It is faster than the compact flow wrapper and the candy and cookie machine, and made for lines that feed from an oven cooling conveyor or a bar cutter. The large pillow bag wrapper is for bigger packs, and the biscuit and wafer wrapper is built for stacked products up to 330 mm.

The chief factor in speed is how products are fed. Products must be spaced evenly, and a feeder or a conveyor with pushers does this. If your product is wrapped from an automatic production line, the infeed height can be matched to it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I connect it to my production line?

Yes. The infeed conveyor can be matched to the outlet of your line, given the product height and delivery rate.

What film does it use?

Plastic film is the standard. Other films need a compatibility check.

What is the maximum bag size?

Bag size depends on product size and film width. Limits are checked for your product in the quotation.

What speed will I get with a long bar?

Speed falls as product length rises, because the sealing jaws have to travel further. A 100 mm bar reaches the top of the range more easily than a 200 mm bar.
