Overview

What a rotary machine does

Premade pouches are fed into a rotating carousel. At each of the eight stations a different step happens: pick up the pouch, open it, fill it, seal it, cool and release. The pouch moves one station at a time, so the machine can fill, seal and release in parallel and keep a steady pace.

Liquids and pastes

This machine is listed for liquids and pastes. That covers coffee, jam, sauce and similar products. Pastes need the right pump and nozzle; we match these to the thickness of your product instead of fitting a standard set.

Build and power

All machine surfaces are 304 stainless steel. It runs on 380 V or 220 V at 50 or 60 Hz, which covers most export markets. It measures 4000 x 2000 x 2100 mm and weighs 1800 kg gross, so plan floor space and a forklift route for unloading. The feeding system is chosen for your packing material, whether liquid or paste, and capacity depends on pouch size and product.

Compared with the other sachet machines

The sachet machines in our range make a bag from film. This model works with pouches that are already made, which gives the shelf-ready look of a stand-up pouch, with a bottom gusset and sometimes a zipper or spout. Choose it when appearance and standing on the shelf matter more than the lowest packaging cost.

Premade pouches on a rotary machine

This machine takes premade pouches from a magazine and moves them through eight stations. Each does one job: loading, coding, opening, filling, sealing and discharge. It is built with a 304 stainless-steel surface and a gross weight of about 1,800 kg. Dimensions are 4,000 x 2,000 x 2,100 mm.

Compared with a vertical form-fill-seal machine, the pouch looks better because it is printed and formed in advance, and it can have a zipper or a spout. The cost per pouch is higher, so it fits premium sauces, cosmetics, drinks and ready meals. Our 4-head spout pouch filler is more specialized, with only spout pouches and a capping station. The sachet machines are for single-serve packs made from a roll.

Changing pouch size means moving the gripper arms, which takes about 15–30 minutes. Pouch drawing, product and target speed set the gripper and filler setup.
