Overview

A mid-speed sachet machine

At 25 to 50 bags per minute, this is the practical machine for a business that has outgrown manual filling but does not need a multi-lane line. It forms a side-seal bag from film, fills it with the liquid and seals it, and the finished sachets drop out ready to pack into cartons.

Materials

The machine body is food-grade SS304 or SS316 stainless steel. SS316 is worth considering for acidic or salty products such as fruit juice and brine-based sauces, since it resists corrosion better. For neutral products SS304 is enough, and we advise you based on your recipe.

Footprint and power

The machine measures 1400 x 1150 x 1640 mm, which is compact enough for a small production room, and runs on 220 V or 380 V. Packaging is plastic film. It supports several finished pack styles, including stand-up pouches, but the side-seal bag is the standard format.

How it compares

It is faster than our small pneumatic sachet machine and slower than a multi-lane model. If you need a few thousand sachets an hour from one lane, this is the right middle ground. If you need much more, look at the multi-lane version.

Choosing a configuration

  • Product and its acidity
  • Sachet size and fill volume
  • Film type and roll width
  • Target bags per minute within the 25-50 range
  • Voltage and frequency

We test the machine at our factory and send it by sea in a wooden case.

Single-lane sachets at moderate speed

This single-lane machine makes liquid sachets at 25–50 bags per minute. The bag is formed from film in a vertical pass, filled and sealed on three sides. Stainless steel in SS304 or SS316 is used for all product contact, which suits juices, oils, sauces and cleaners.

If you need more than about 50 sachets per minute, there are two ways to get it. A multi-lane liquid sachet machine cuts several sachets at once and reaches several hundred per minute in total. Our shampoo and gel sachet machine runs at up to 230 bags per minute with back sealing and a different film type. Choose this machine for a first production line or short runs, for a small brand or a contract filler.

The fill volume depends on the pump size and bag width. A larger pump tends to be less accurate on very small doses, so the smallest and largest fill decide the setup.

Frequently asked questions

SS304 or SS316, which do I need?

SS316 resists acid and salt better. Your product decides the grade.

Can it make stand-up pouches?

The specification includes stand-up pouch among its pack styles, though the standard bag is side-seal. The format is checked against your product.

What happens to speed with thick sauce?

Thicker products fill more slowly. We state the realistic range for your product in the quote.

How long does a film change take?

A reel change takes only a few minutes. A size change, with a new forming collar and sealing jaw, takes longer, about half an hour.
