Retro caravans draw attention at campsites and events. This trailer combines an aluminum and stainless steel body with a hot-dip galvanized chassis for corrosion resistance. The size is customized to your order, so there is no fixed length; we agree one on the drawing.

Payload and layout

The stated payload is 3300 kg, the highest figure in our trailer range, so the chassis and axle specification must be matched to your tow vehicle. Sleeping capacity ranges from 2–4 persons up to 4–6, depending on the layout you choose. A 120 L fresh water tank supports the slide-out kitchen.

Layout and business use

Final length, weight, axle count, hitch, brakes, lighting, interior and color are set per order. Because size and layout are open, a short brief (how many people sleep, how it will be towed and where it will be used) is enough to start. Retro trailers are often bought for businesses such as coffee, ice cream or boutique stays; for those, the equipment list and counter sizes are checked against payload and weight distribution before the layout is drawn.

The large expedition trailer

This is the heaviest-duty trailer in our travel range. The 3,300 kg figure is the maximum payload, not the weight of the empty trailer, and it shows the trailer is built for long, loaded trips: tandem axle, hot-dip galvanized chassis and stainless parts. The sleeping capacity runs from 2–4 up to 4–6, depending on layout.

Compared with the 5000 mm aluminum travel trailer, it is larger, heavier and much better equipped for remote areas. Compared with the 6725 mm hybrid, it is a rigid body with no set-up needed, but it is harder to tow and store. Compared with the teardrop and the mini caravan, it is a different class: a home on wheels for families and long-distance travelers. The retro rounded styling is a feature, giving it a vintage look with modern hardware. Match it with a vehicle that is rated to tow it fully loaded, and check axle loads, tongue weight and braking. A bathroom can be added if you want one.
