Overview

A family-size trailer

At 5000 mm long, 2200 mm wide and 2500 mm high, this trailer gives a family room to sleep and cook without the weight of a large caravan. The aluminum body is silver, and the interior floor is PVC leather, which wipes clean easily.

Cooking and wheels

Cooking is on an induction cooker, so it needs shore power or an inverter-backed battery system. The power system is specified to match. The wheels are 225/55R17, a road-car style size, which makes tyre replacement easy in most markets.

The body is 5000 mm long. A longer body can be built on request. The chassis is a branded axle chassis, with the axle rating, brakes and hitch specified with the order.

Many buyers start here because a mid-size SUV can tow it.

The silver aluminum shell is light and does not rust, and the 225/55R17 wheels suit road touring rather than rough tracks. The induction cooker is a deliberate choice: it is clean and fast, but it draws about 2 kW and needs an inverter and a large battery, or shore power at a campsite. If you want off-grid cooking, ask for a gas hob instead. Check your vehicle’s towing limit, tow bar rating and braking, and do not load the trailer beyond its payload. A level pitch and a good set of stabilizers improve comfort when parked.
