Overview

Hybrid design: compact on the road, roomy at camp

A hybrid caravan folds down for towing and expands at camp for more living space. This one measures 6725 mm long and 2750 mm high when set up, and it sleeps two to four. It is the largest trailer in this range by length.

Built for rough tracks

Ground clearance is 575 mm, high for a trailer, and the chassis is hot-dip galvanised, which helps against rust. Independent suspension reduces shocks, and the braking system combines an electric brake with a hand brake. Check that your tow vehicle supports electric trailer brakes before ordering.

Water and comfort

A 200 L clean water tank is fitted. A kitchen and shower system, heating, solar and battery can be specified with the order.

Choosing among our trailers

Storage

A trailer of this length needs planning for storage as well as towing. Check the height of your garage or yard cover against the folded dimensions on the drawing; for outdoor storage, suitable covers and seals are available. Total weight, hitch type, brake plug, kitchen, shower, solar, battery and color are set with the order.

Hybrid camper versus our other trailers

A hybrid trailer folds down for the road and opens out at camp. Compared with the 5000 mm travel trailer, which is a solid-body box, the hybrid is narrower and lower on tow, with canvas end sections that add sleeping and living space. The compromise is set-up time, since the bed ends and tent walls must be opened at each stop.

At 6725 mm long and with 575 mm ground clearance, it is the most off-road capable trailer in our range, thanks to its hot-dip galvanised chassis, independent suspension and electric brakes. Compared with the 3,300 kg retro expedition trailer, it is lighter to tow and easier to store. Compared with the 4200 mm teardrop and the mini caravan, it has more room and a bigger water tank, 200 L, which suits a family for several days off-grid. Choose it if your trips involve unsealed roads, long stays and changeable weather. Check that your vehicle can tow its weight and that your garage fits the folded length.
