Overview
How it works
The plant brings feed water through sand filtration, cartridge filtration and chemical dosing, then through the reverse osmosis stage, where membranes remove most dissolved salts. Everything sits inside a 20 ft container with piping, pumps and controls already connected, so on site you connect raw water, product water, concentrate drain and power.
Rated data
At the design condition of 4,000 ppm TDS feed and 20 °C, the plant produces 10 m³/h, which is 240 m³/day if it runs 24 hours. Recovery is 70% and feed flow is 14.29 m³/h. It uses 12 membranes of the 8040 size and works at up to 20 barg. Core equipment is rated at 15.6 kW, excluding the intake pump and air conditioner; installed power including auxiliaries is 30.2 kW. This gives a specific energy of 1.56 kWh/m³ at the design point.
When your water is different
These figures apply to the stated design feed of 4,000 ppm TDS at 20 °C. Colder water cuts output, and a saltier well raises the pressure and the energy used per cubic meter. A different TDS, water temperature or fouling tendency also changes the pretreatment needed, so a full water analysis comes before the quotation. Recovery can be adjusted to your requirement.
Where it is used
Containerized plants suit locations where a building is not available or time is short: remote communities, farms, camps and industrial sites. The container can be moved to a new site later.
Configuration options
- Raw water analysis and target product water standard
- Whether the intake pump and air conditioner are in the supply
- Remineralization or disinfection after RO
- Power supply voltage and frequency
- Concentrate disposal method
Build and delivery
We build and test the plant in our factory and ship it in the container. Our engineers support commissioning and operator training.
Compared with the skid system
This plant packs treatment into a 20 ft container, so it arrives ready to place on a pad and connect. The container holds the electrical panel, pumps and membranes in one weatherproof space, which is a real advantage where the site is remote, dusty or hot.
For smaller demand, such as 1–5 m³/h, the skid system is lighter and costs less to ship. For several times this output, containers are built in larger sizes, or two units can be installed side by side, which also lets one keep running while the other is cleaned.

Frequently asked questions
Is the 10 m³/h output guaranteed for any water?
No. It is rated at the design feed of 4,000 ppm TDS and 20 °C. Other waters change the output, so the number is stated after your analysis is reviewed.
Can the plant make drinking water?
RO removes most salts, and post-treatment can be added. Whether the product meets drinking water rules depends on your source water and the standard in your country, so it should be checked against your tests.
How is it installed?
Place the container on a level base, connect raw water, product water, drain and power, then commission. We send connection drawings in advance.
Does it need a building around it?
No. The container is the building. It needs a level concrete pad, a feed water line, a drain for the concentrate and a power connection. In hot regions a sunshade over the roof helps the equipment run cooler.
