Overview

A feed mill for one farm

At 200 kg/h this is a small unit. It is meant for a single farm, a small group of farmers or a start-up feed business that wants to press its own feed instead of buying bagged pellets. Pelleted feed wastes less than loose meal and is easier to handle for poultry, pigs and cattle.

Small and portable

The machine is 1,180 mm long and weighs 90 kg. Two people can place it in a shed, and it needs no heavy foundation. For floating fish feed the process is a puffing one, which needs a different configuration.

Power

The series motor range is 4.5 to 37 kW, with a supply of 220 V or 380 V or customized. The motor for the 200 kg/h machine is matched to your local power supply.

Getting started

A typical small set-up is a hammer mill, a mixer, this pellet machine and a bagging scale. Start with one feed formula, set the moisture and die, and test pellet hardness by hand. Once the first batches are consistent, add further formulas by changing the die. We can send a simple start-up guide and a spare die with the first order.

Compared with the other 200 kg/h feed pellet machine

This compact pellet machine and the farm animal feed pellet machine (MM-AFP200A) share the same stated size: 200 kg/h, 90 kg, 1,180 x 440 x 1,020 mm and a motor range of 4.5-37 kW. The difference lies in how we position and configure them. This model is specified for animal feed and floating fish feed with a compact plant approach, so it suits small feed makers, pet-food producers and fish farms that want a flexible small setup.

The farm model is aimed at mixed livestock farms that press pig, cattle and poultry feed with a motor-and-gear drive. The fish and pet feed extruder line (MM-FXL120A) makes floating fish feed in stainless steel at 120-250 kg/h and is the correct tool when true floating pellets are needed.

Choose this one when you need a small, movable machine and may add a cooler or crumbler. Formula, target pellet size and voltage decide the die and motor.
