Overview

Why tracks

On steep hillsides a wheeled truck slips or tips. A tracked chassis spreads weight over a long contact patch, grips better and sits lower, so it can climb and cross rough ground that other vehicles avoid. That is why crawler carriers are common in mountain orchards, tea fields and terraced farmland.

What the vehicle normally includes

A climbing transporter has rubber tracks, a rust-resistant metal frame and a cargo bed that either tips by hydraulics or stays flat. Drive is by a small diesel or gasoline engine or by an electric motor with a battery. Controls are handle-bar or, in larger versions, a seat or remote.

Configuration

This is a configured vehicle. The load you carry, the steepest slope, the path width and the choice of engine or electric drive set the specification, and a drawing is approved before any order is placed.

How to choose between the climbing transporter and our other crawlers

Choose by the slope and the job. This climbing transporter is the base model for hauling harvested crops, fertilizer bags and tools along narrow mountain and terrace paths. It can have a tipping bed for soil and fruit crates, or a flat platform for bagged cargo.

Our 10 kW diesel dumper (MM-CD10A) is a mini bucket machine for daily orchard hauling, and the 22 kW heavy-duty dumper (MM-HCD22A) carries 1,500 kg with a bucket for long hauls. The remote-control transporter (MM-RCV15A) has a lifting platform and radio control for ground where an operator should not ride. The 6 kW electric dumper (MM-ECD6A) is for greenhouses and gardens.

Start with the load and the steepest slope: at 20 degrees most tracked vehicles are comfortable, above 25 degrees you need low gearing, wider tracks and attention to center of gravity.

Choosing track width, power and bed

Photos or a short video of your steepest path, the loads you move and the width of gates and terraces let our engineers choose track width, power and bed.

Frequently asked questions

What load can it carry?

Load depends on the chassis and track size we select for your slope and path. Vehicles like this carry several hundred kilograms; the figure is fixed by your duty.

Can I get an electric version?

Yes. Engine, electric and hybrid drives are all common. Electric suits short, repeated trips near a charging point, while an engine is better for long shifts.

What slope can it climb?

Tracked transporters like this commonly climb 20–30 degrees on firm ground, less on wet clay or loose gravel. Your steepest section sets the limit.

Is it a sprayer?

No. It is a cargo transport vehicle. A sprayer unit can be mounted on request .
