An electric option

Most small crawler dumpers run on an engine. This one uses a 6 kW electric drive, so there is no exhaust and much less noise. That suits greenhouses, enclosed barns and gardens where fumes are a problem, and it removes the cost and handling of fuel.

Small footprint

The machine is 1,100 mm long and 700 mm wide and weighs 252 kg, so it passes through a normal gate and between trees and beds. Tracks spread the load, which reduces rutting on soft ground compared with wheels.

Hydraulic lift

A hydraulic cylinder lifts and tips the load, so the operator does not have to lift by hand. Bucket capacity and rated load depend on the configuration, so no load figure is published here.

Power supply

An electric unit needs a battery or a mains charge plan. Daily working hours decide the battery arrangement and charging time.

Maintenance

An electric drive has fewer moving parts than an engine, with no oil changes for the motor and no fuel system. Keep the tracks clean, check track tension and watch the hydraulic fluid level. Charge the battery after each shift and avoid deep discharge. These simple habits keep a small electric carrier ready for daily use.

How the electric dumper compares with the diesel models

This is the smallest and quietest of our crawler dumpers: 6 kW electric, 252 kg, 1,100 mm long and 700 mm wide. It suits greenhouses, gardens and narrow paths where diesel fumes, noise and weight are problems. Daily running costs are low because it uses mains-charged batteries.

The 10 kW diesel mini dumper (MM-CD10A) carries a 0.4 m³ bucket and weighs 500 kg, which makes it better for a long working day and heavier loads. The 13.5 HP forward-tipping dumper (MM-CDF135A) and the 22 kW heavy-duty model (MM-HCD22A) are built for mud, steep ground and haul loads far beyond this one.

Choose the electric model if your days include short trips between a charging point and the work area. Plan battery storage and a safe charging area, and keep spare battery capacity if work is continuous. Route length and load decide battery size.
