Overview
Installation without heavy lifting
A conventional container house needs a crane to place it. This detachable design is assembled from parts, so a small team with basic tools can build it on remote or tight sites. That cuts the cost of hiring lifting equipment, which is the biggest hurdle on many projects.
Built to last outdoors
The house is waterproof and antirust. Sandwich panels and steel parts are used together, and the surface protection (for example the galvanizing or paint system) is chosen for your climate. For coastal or humid areas, specify this early.
One house, many uses
Applications include hotel, shop, toilet, villa, warehouse, house and office. A single module can serve as a shop or a store room, and several modules can form a small hotel block or a campus.
Compared with the folding house
Our folding 20 ft house opens like an accordion, while this house is built from separate panels and frame parts. The detachable type is typically better for larger layouts; the folding type is quicker for a single room.
Planning the build
Even a no-crane build needs a plan. Module sizes, panel thickness and fittings are set with the layout, and an assembly sequence can be prepared to suit the crew size, the tools available and the access road width for the delivery truck.
Detachable or folding?
The detachable house is the one for sites where cranes are rare. The roof frame, floor frame and corner posts bolt together, and panels are lifted in by hand or with a small forklift, so a crew of three or four can erect a module in a day or two. Dismantling is just as simple, and parts can be repacked and trucked to the next site.
Our folding houses unfold from a single compact unit, which is faster to open but heavier to move. The flatpack houses are similar in spirit to this one but are designed as fixed buildings. The 40 ft detachable villa is the finished-home version: thicker walls and a villa finish, shipped in a 40HQ container. This house is the practical, multi-use option. With office, living, shop, hotel, toilet, warehouse and villa layouts all possible, it is the one rented out by camps and contractors. If you plan to move it more than once, order extra bolts and sealing strips for each re-assembly.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a crane?
No, the design is a no-crane installation. A small team with tools can assemble it.
Can I add modules later?
The detachable design makes it possible to extend. Plan the layout with future extension in mind.
Is it rustproof?
It is built antirust, and the surface treatment is chosen for your climate.
How many times can the house be moved?
A well-maintained bolted frame can be taken apart and re-erected several times. Replace gaskets and any damaged panels at each move, and keep the bolts and sealing strips together.
