Clear snow without walking behind the machine

This is the smallest snow machine in our range. It is operated by remote control, so the operator can stand to the side and steer it along a path instead of walking behind. That is useful in deep or wet snow, and on slopes or tight spaces where walking behind a blower is awkward.

Specifications

A 6.5 HP (4.8 kW) engine drives the blower. The maximum working width is 56 cm and the maximum working thickness is 56 cm, which gives you a feel for the snow depths it can take on in one pass. A full tank runs for about 4 hours, long enough to clear several driveways or a path around a house before refueling.

Starting

The engine has both electric start and manual pull start. Electric start is convenient in the cold, and the pull start is a back-up if the battery is weak.

Who it suits

Homeowners, small hotels, shops and property managers that need to clear paths and driveways, not a whole road. If you need to sweep a car park or a street, our larger gasoline sweepers and tracked machines are a better match.

What to check

Snow type changes the result. Light powder is easy; wet, heavy snow slows the machine and needs lower speeds. Check the kind of snow you clear and how deep it gets to see whether this size is enough.

Compared with the tracked blower and the larger machines

This 56 cm machine is the smallest in our snow range. The 6.5 HP engine and 56 cm width suit private driveways, sidewalks, small parking areas and steps where an operator can stand safely away while the machine works.

The tracked remote blower (MM-STB11F) comes in 620 mm and 1000 mm widths with a 9.8 to 11 kW engine and clears 30 to 500 mm of snow. It is the step up for larger lots, deep drifts and slopes. The ride-on blower (MM-RSS4F) and the roller-brush sweeper (MM-SSG25F) are vehicle-class machines for roads and campuses, and the attachment (MM-BSAF) is for tractors.

Choose this small blower when your area is a few hundred square meters, the snow is light to moderate and storage space is tight. For deep, wet snow or long distances, choose the tracked version. Snow depth, surface and area per shift decide the choice.
