Overview

A pump instead of a trowel crew

Hand plastering is slow and uneven. This machine pumps mortar from a 100 L hopper through a hose to a spray gun, so one operator covers a wall faster than a team with trowels. Output is adjustable from 0 to 35 L/min, and the maximum working pressure is 40 bar. You control the thickness by changing the flow.

Reach and power

The pump lifts mortar up to 15 m vertically and moves it up to 40 m horizontally. That is enough to plaster several floors from one position, as long as the hose and the mix are right. It runs on a 220 V single-phase supply with a 5.5 kW motor, so it works on ordinary site power, with no generator of unusual size.

Mix and material limits

The maximum aggregate size is 8 mm, so the mix needs fine sand. Coarse concrete or gravel will block the pump. We recommend a trial with your own mortar before you commit to large volumes, and we can advise on mix and hose length.

Where it fits

The machine weighs 200 kg and measures 115 by 46 by 55 cm, so two people can move it and it fits on a small truck. It is not a concrete pump; for pouring, see our concrete mixers. For crews that plaster many walls, this is a direct labor-saving tool.

Choosing a mortar pump over a bigger concrete pump

Mortar pumps and concrete pumps solve different problems. A concrete pump moves coarse aggregate and large volumes; this 5.5 kW unit moves fine mortar for walls and floors. With a maximum aggregate of 8 mm, it should not be fed ordinary concrete. Its 220 V single-phase supply and 200 kg weight make it a good fit for apartment buildings and small contractors where three-phase power is not available. Larger spray machines carry more output and greater reach, but they need three-phase power and a bigger crew. Choose this one for plastering rooms, screed work and thin mortar layers. If you also place structural concrete, you will need a separate concrete pump. After each job, flush the hose and pump with clean water, because dried mortar is the usual cause of blocked hoses and worn rotors.

Frequently asked questions

Can it pump concrete?

No. The maximum aggregate size is 8 mm, so it is for mortar and plaster.

Does it need three-phase power?

No. It runs on 220 V single phase.

What hose is included?

Hose length and spray gun are matched to your building height in the quotation.

How big a team do I need?

A typical team is two or three: one mixing mortar and feeding the hopper, one spraying, and one smoothing. Production rises when mortar is mixed in bulk and fed continuously to the hopper.
