Overview

Mixer, loader and truck in one

A self-loading mixer carries its own sand, stone, cement and water, loads them with a front bucket and mixes on site. This model is built on a four-wheel-drive chassis, with a 55 kW diesel engine and a drive axle with wheel-side reduction rated for an 8 t mixer. The result is a machine that climbs and turns on rough tracks while carrying a full load.

Drum and batch sizes

The drum has a geometric volume of 1.8 m³ and makes 1.5 m³ of concrete per batch. The split-gear gearbox has four forward and four reverse speeds, and the top speed is 30 km/h.

Transport and handling

The machine weighs 4,500 kg and measures 5,350 mm by 1,800 mm by 2,900 mm. It is listed to ship in one 20GP container, which keeps freight simple for buyers who import one or two units.

Choosing between the 1.0 m³, 1.5 m³ and 6.5 m³ trucks

Within our self-loading mixer group, this 1.5 m³ truck is the middle choice, and the practical size for contractors who build roads, culverts and small buildings far from a batching plant. The 1.0 m³ truck is lighter and narrower for tight access, and our tracked mixers are lighter still for small crews on narrow plots; the 6.5 m³ truck suits continuous pours of high daily volume with long hauls. At 1.5 m³ per batch and a 4,500 kg machine weight, this one carries enough concrete for road slabs, house foundations and farm buildings, while still fitting on a 20GP container. A 55 kW diesel with a split gearbox gives it the speed to cover a site and the torque to scoop from a pile. Move up to a larger truck only when your pour rate regularly outruns its cycle time. Move down when narrow gates or soft ground matter more than batch size. Operators learn it quickly, because loading, mixing and discharge use a short set of hydraulic levers.
