Overview
A family, not a single model
This page covers a range. The drum is 350 to 500 L, the engine 6.5 to 9.5 HP, and the weight 450 to 680 kg. The smaller models go through a narrow door; the larger ones mix bigger batches. Each machine has a rubber-track chassis, so it moves on soft or broken ground at 0 to 6 km/h and can climb slopes of 20° to 30°.
How it works
The machine is self-loading and self-discharging. A hydraulic lift tips the drum for discharge, and the thickened steel drum resists the wear of sand and gravel. You can choose a gasoline or a diesel engine; diesel suits sites with a fuel supply, gasoline is often easier to start on small jobs.
Output and drum speed
The series lists a productivity of 10 to 14 m³/h, which is high for a drum of this size, since each batch takes a few minutes to mix. The mixing speed of 1,440 r/min also describes a motor or shaft, not a drum. Realistic output and drum speed are given in the quotation; use those figures, not the series range, when you plan a pour schedule.
Choosing a size
Choose the smaller drum for tunnel work, road patching and narrow plots. Choose the larger drum if you have more labor feeding materials and want fewer batches. If you pour more than a few cubic meters a day, look at our self-loading mixer trucks.
Picking a size inside the 350–500 L range
This page describes a family rather than one machine, so the first decision is the drum size. Choose the 350 L drum for narrow access, small crews and short pours: it is lighter, lower and easier to turn in tight spaces. Choose the 500 L drum when the work is longer or the haul is longer, because fewer trips cut the cost per cubic meter. In both cases, the self-loading and self-discharging action reduces the number of workers compared with a barrow gang. The power unit (gasoline or diesel) should follow your fuel supply, and rubber tracks protect finished floors while steel suits rock. For jobs near the top of this range, compare against our 442 L machine, which has a stated output and weight; for the smallest jobs, compare against our 300 L model.

Frequently asked questions
Which drum size should I order?
It depends on your daily volume and passage width. Choose by daily volume and passage width.
Can it work in tunnels?
It is listed for tunnel works. For diesel exhaust underground, local rules apply; check yours before you specify.
How is it shipped?
The light weight allows several units per container.
Does the 500 L drum give 500 L of finished concrete?
Not usually. Charging capacity is the dry material volume; finished concrete is smaller after mixing and water.
