Overview

The smallest of our mixer trucks

This truck mixes 1.0 m³ and carries out the whole job itself: it loads sand, stone and cement, adds water through an automatic pump and mixes at a drum speed of 15 r/min. A diesel engine in two power ratings, 42 kW or 33 kW, supplies the drive. It is a good first self-loader for a small contractor.

Moving between sites

Top speed is 30 km/h, which is enough to travel between farms, plots or road sections without a trailer. The machine measures 5,900 mm long, 2,350 mm wide and 2,660 mm high. Those dimensions are not as small as the weight might suggest, so check the gate and road widths on your route.

Weight and transport

The machine weighs 5,000 kg, against 4,500 kg for our 1.5 m³ model. Shipping weight and axle load are stated in the quotation, because they affect road permits and container loading.

Choosing between sizes

At 1.0 m³ this is the smallest of our self-loading mixer trucks. Choose it when access is tight: narrow gates, farm tracks and village lanes where a wider truck cannot pass, or where the delivery distance per batch is short. If you pour just a few cubic meters at a time, it uses less fuel than our 6.5 m³ truck, and its smaller drum needs fewer people to feed it and less aggregate stock on hand. If you place more than a few batches an hour all day, our 1.5 m³ four-wheel-drive truck is the next step and cuts trips and loading time. If your site is too narrow for a truck, a tracked mixer is the answer.

Whatever size you pick, keep batch size in line with how fast your crew can place concrete, because concrete left waiting in the drum loses workability.
