Diesel power for long shifts

Not every site has a reliable place to charge batteries. This sweeper runs on a 36.3 kW diesel engine, so it works as long as there is fuel in the tank. That makes it a sensible choice for towns, ports and contractor fleets that clean for many hours a day or work far from a charging point.

Vacuum cleaning

The cleaning process is vacuum negative pressure. Debris is drawn into the machine through a suction path instead of being thrown forward by brushes alone, which helps keep dust under control on dry roads. The unit is 4285 mm long and only 1240 mm wide, so it can work lanes that wider truck sweepers cannot enter.

Diesel machines depend on fuel quality and service access. Where the sweeper works, which fuel is common there and who will service the engine decide which filters and service kit suit the conditions.

How it compares with our other street sweepers

The diesel vacuum sweeper is the machine for sites that want a street sweeper without a battery limit. With a 36.3 kW engine and 2370 kg weight it works a full shift, refuels in minutes and does not wait for a charger, which makes it a good fit for places with a weak or unreliable grid. Against our electric ride-on models there is no charging and longer continuous work, but there is engine noise and exhaust.

The electric options do the same job more quietly: the 72 V sweeper (MM-SW30V) has a 3000 L bin and a 2.2 m width, and the 60 V truck (MM-RS60V) has a 600 L hopper. They cost less per hour to run but need charging time. The large truck (MM-RT10V) has a 10 m³ hopper for highways. This machine sits in between: much smaller and lighter than the 10 m³ road sweeper truck and suited to town streets rather than highways, but with unlimited runtime.

Choose it for municipal streets, industrial roads, ports and plants where the grid is limited and shifts are long. It works well on fine dust and fallen leaves.
