Use the tractor you already own

If you already have a tractor, a tractor-driven combine saves the cost of a second engine and drivetrain. This machine takes power from the tractor and is suitable for tractors from 15 to 80 HP, which includes many small and mid-size units. It harvests rice, wheat and beans.

Size and weight

The working width is 800 mm and the unit weighs 650 kg. It measures 1.25 x 3 x 1.4 m, so it is light enough for small plots. Electric start belongs to the tractor, not the harvester.

Fitting to your tractor

Photos of your tractor’s rear or front linkage and PTO are enough to check that the combine’s drive shaft, hitch and hydraulic needs match. Mounting arrangement (front or rear), PTO speed and tractor hydraulic requirements follow from your tractor model. Where needed, adapter parts are supplied so the harvester sits at the right height. A correct match gives smoother threshing and less strain on the tractor.

Tractor-driven versus self-propelled mini combines

This combine uses your tractor as the engine, so you buy a harvest head and thresher, not a second engine. It cuts 800 mm and weighs 650 kg.

The mini rice and wheat combine (MM-MRW10A) is self-propelled with a 1,000 mm cut and 1,000 kg weight. It carries its own engine, is easier to drive in small paddies and is the better choice if you have no suitable tractor. The 5.5 HP reaper binder (MM-RBH55A) cuts and bundles only. The larger 92 kW multi-crop combine (MM-MCH92A) is for contractors.

This model is the lowest-cost route if you already own a tractor and harvest only a few days a year, and it suits rental operators who want a lower investment per machine. The trade-off is that the tractor is then busy and may need to be a larger one for wet ground, and its PTO must be strong enough. The match is checked against your tractor power, field size and crops before shipment.
