Overview

One combine for several crops

A farm that grows rice, wheat and corn in turn does not want three machines. This combine keeps the same body, engine and threshing unit and takes a different header for each crop. That spreads the capital cost over more hectares and more weeks of the year.

Size and capacity

A 92 kW engine drives a 2,360 mm header. The threshing cylinder is 620 mm in diameter and 2,210 mm long, and the feed rate is 7 kg per second. At 4,280 kg and 5.8 m long, it is a mid-size machine that suits small to medium fields and many contractors.

Track and mobility

The track gauge is 1,250 mm. The machine measures 2,650 mm wide, so it can be loaded onto a standard truck bed or container with care.

Crops

This combine is specified for corn, rice and wheat. Headers for any other crop are handled separately.

Season preparation

Before each season, service the engine, check belts and chains, inspect the threshing concave and replace worn knives. Set the cylinder speed and concave gap for the crop in the field, then check grain loss behind the machine. We provide a pre-season checklist and a recommended wear-parts list for the header you choose.

How to choose between this combine and the others

With a 92 kW engine, a 2,360 mm header and a stated feeding capacity of 7 kg/s, this combine is the flexible choice in our harvesters range. Changing headers lets one machine serve corn, rice and wheat, which helps contractors and mixed farms who cannot justify a separate machine for each crop.

The 5-row self-propelled combine (MM-SCH5A) is lighter in specification but has a narrower 2,060 mm width and is aimed at corn. The 6-row large combine (MM-LCH240A) has far more capacity for big acreage. The mini rice and wheat combine (MM-MRW10A) cuts only 1,000 mm and fits small fields.

Before ordering, check the field size, the crop mix and the track gauge, which is 1,250 mm. Wet paddy often calls for tracks rather than tires. Header changes take time and need storage space, so plan which crop dominates your season. Crops and soil decide the header set.
