Overview

The smallest corn harvester we make

One row, one walking tractor, one operator. This machine is built for family plots and terraces where nothing larger can be used. It picks the ears and then crushes the straw, so the field is left ready for the next crop.

Power and speed

A 10-15 HP diesel walking tractor drives it, with a rated 8.82 kW power requirement. Working speed is about 2 km/h and the knife shaft turns at 2,200 r/min. Output is stated as 0.1 to 0.2 ha per hour.

Size

The machine is 2,100 x 850 x 1,240 mm and weighs 260 kg. It works rows spaced 400-800 mm apart with a 500-700 mm working width, which suits most manual-planting patterns.

Walking tractor requirements

Check that your walking tractor has a PTO or drive output matching the harvester, and that its power is within the stated 10-15 HP range. Row spacing must suit the unit. The coupling is checked against your walking tractor model before shipping, which avoids surprises on delivery.

Compared with the other corn harvesters

This one-row unit fits plots measured in a few hundred square meters up to about a hectare.

The tractor-mounted 2–3 row corn harvester (MM-MCH12A) needs a 30–70 HP tractor and cuts 1,200 mm, so it gets through more ground on farms with a bigger tractor. The self-propelled 5-row and 6-row combines are for contractors and large farms, and the silage harvester produces chopped forage rather than grain.

Choose the single-row machine if you already own a walking tractor, have narrow access or tiny fields, and want to avoid hand picking. Row distance is 400–800 mm, so check your planting before you order.
