Overview

The lightest in the group

Weighing 900 kg, this is the lightest crawler excavator on this page. It is meant for the owner of a farm, a nursery or a small yard who needs to dig occasionally but does not want to pay for a heavier machine. A digging force of 10.5 kN is enough for soil, sand and loose gravel, but not for hard clay or rock.

Size of the working envelope

The arm reaches 2,400 mm and digs to a depth of 1,400 mm. The maximum digging height is 2,490 mm. These are the smallest figures among our mini excavators, so this machine suits post holes, shallow trenches and cleaning ditches.

Power and attachments

The machine is rated at 12 HP. Whether your version is battery electric or engine driven, and its battery or engine rating, depends on the configuration you choose.

Attachments

It is built for multiple attachments. Typical choices for this size are an auger for post holes, a hydraulic breaker for concrete slabs and a thumb for handling logs. The hydraulic circuit determines which of these work on your order. Because the machine is so light, transport is simple: it can travel on a small trailer, and we pack it for container shipping with the attachments alongside.

Why the attachment line matters

This is the lightest machine in our mini-excavator group, at 900 kg and 12 HP, and the one built around attachments instead of raw digging power. With a bucket digging force of 10.5 kN and 1,400 mm of depth, it does not match the 1 t electric models for depth, but it keeps working through the day with no charging, and an auger, breaker or ripper turns it into a post-hole machine, a small demolition tool or a ground ripper. Compared with the farm and garden 1 t excavator, it is lighter and shallower. Compared with the 2.5 t machine, it is far smaller and cheaper. Choose it when you want one compact machine to dig, drill and break across a small farm, nursery or yard. Match the auger size and breaker energy to the hydraulic flow of the machine.

Frequently asked questions

Is it electric or engine driven?

It is rated at 12 HP and can be supplied as a battery-electric or an engine-driven version, chosen when you order.

Can it dig hard ground?

10.5 kN suits soil and sand. For hard clay, choose a heavier machine.

Which attachments work?

Auger, breaker and others depending on the circuit. The work decides the set.

Which attachment gives the most use on a farm?

Most buyers start with an auger for fence posts and trees, then a narrow trenching bucket. A small breaker is added for concrete and stone.
